30 Days of Egg Whites: Scrambled Egg Whites on Rye with Turkey Sausage and Refried Beans

Go big or go home… today we’re going to create our own macro friendly big breakfast which is loaded with fiber and protein all on very little fat.

Ingredients
  • 100g turkey sausage
  • 55g Refried Beans
  • 25 g of Rye Bread
  • 15g Mozzarella Cheese
  • 190g of Scrambled Egg Whites
  • Hot Sauce to taste
Method
  1. Prepare sausage as desired in pan or broiler.
  2. Place egg whites into microwave safe bowl and cook for 1-2 mins stirring often. These can also be cooked on the stove top if preferred.
  3. Place bread in toaster and lightly toast.
  4. Heat beans as per instructions on can in microwave. Be sure to cover these or they will explode.
  5. Combine all foods together when cooked. Sprinkle cheese and hot sauce to finish.

*½ fat Mayo on the toast is a really good additional to this meal.
