30 Days of Egg Whites: Warm Crusty Roll Filled with Pesto Egg Whites & Cheese

Fast, filling and flavourful, today we’re going to combine simple ingredients to create a satisfying dish to delight.

Ingredients
  • 250g of egg whites
  • 5g of basil pesto
  • 125g bread roll
  • 15g mozzarella cheese to melt
Method
  1. Turn on Broiler to warm.
  2. Place egg white into a microwave safe dish and cook for 1-2 minutes stirring often. Add pesto and combine.
  3. Cut the side of the bread roll out and set aside. (weigh the bread roll again if you don't have intentions of eating the inside).
  4. Place bread roll in a oven proof safe dish and scoop egg mix inside. Cover with cheese and broil until bread roll is nice and crunchy and cheese is melted.
