It’s undeniable how incredibly amazing our WAG members’ transformations are!
Not only do many members experience a huge emotional transformation on their journey, but also the obvious physical one. This consequently results in changes to clothing sizes, taste preferences and active lifestyle choices!
In conjunction with the WAG January goal of giving, we will be holding a clothing drive one week from today — January 22nd.
We hope that you will join with us to celebrate your success and support those in need by cleaning out your closet and letting go of what you no longer use.
Set aside ample time, prepare your snacks and throw on your favorite playlist! Go through your whole closet and gather up anything you care to share: clothing, shoes, belts, hats, gloves, scarfs, jewelry.
And don’t stop there. Take this opportunity to de-clutter and get rid of anything that’s just taking up space in your life and not adding any value. An old TV sitting in a spare bedroom never being used? The knick-knacks you’ve gotten as gifts over the years that you’ve never opened? Add those things to the pile too! You will be giving new life to everything you give away — as someone else may really need or enjoy it (much more than the dust in your closet).
Letting go can be hard. However, clearing your space and de-cluttering your life can be an exceptionally positive, motivating and healing experience. Having a de-cluttered space can also help you be more productive and happier.
